We’ve identified that this issue is actually coming directly from Facebook/Meta rather than Halio itself.
Meta are now sometimes asking Page owners to complete an extra security/identity check before they allow posts to publish.
The message we’re seeing is:
“Confirm your identity before you can publish as this Page. Open the Facebook app on your phone and follow the instructions.”
This appears to be a newer Meta security feature and our developers are already looking into ways we can better support/handle this within the platform.
For now, the quickest fix is usually to complete the verification directly inside the Facebook mobile app.
Step-by-step:
1. Open the Facebook app on your phone
2. Make sure you’re logged into the Facebook account connected to the Page
3. Facebook should automatically show a prompt asking you to confirm your identity
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
5. Once completed, return to Halio and try publishing again
If Facebook doesn’t show the prompt straight away:
* Open your Facebook Page manually
* Check Notifications or Account Status
* Try creating a quick test post directly on Facebook first, as this can sometimes trigger the verification prompt
Once Meta has verified the account/Page access, posting should start working normally again
